Join the Young Lawyers Division along with Government Public Sector Special Committee on Tues., Jan. 9 for a CLE program titled "Public Sector Careers – It's Not What You Think! A Fireside Chat".
This presentation will feature experienced practitioners who will educate interested attorneys about their respective journeys in pursuing public sector careers. Panelists will include attorneys who have various roles in federal and state government as well as related fields. This presentation will provide a detailed overview of the many opportunities, including some that may not be as well known, available to attorneys who are interested in working on the front lines of serving the public every day. Topics will include why attorneys should consider working in the public sector, highlights and challenges of working in this area, "non-traditional" public interest legal careers, and transitioning between roles and/or the private and public sectors. This presentation is designed for attorneys interested in learning more about opportunities for lawyers to serve the public in their careers.
