NEW BRUNSWICK – The Moreland request to appeal Moreland v. Parks was denied, meaning the NJSBA's motion to be an amicus party, and that of other organizations, was deemed moot. The case involved an appellant making a Portee v. Jaffee claim for emotional distress denied by the trial court because they are not the biological parent. Read the order here.
