Association Requests Certification for Real Estate Attorneys

NEW BRUNSWICK – Real estate attorneys have to keep track of state and federal law changes, new financial regulations and updates from the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau all in the name of serving the public with what is often the largest financial transaction of their lives.
   
To acknowledge those specialized skills, the NJSBA asked the AOC to consider creating a certification for real estate attorneys, requiring them to follow a strict set of qualifications in order for attorneys to earn the designation.
