We’re seeking an employment law associate who can manage all aspects of clients’ matters, including designing policies and strategies, negotiating agreements, drafting pleadings and briefs, arguing motions, mediating cases, and preparing for and attending hearings and trials.

The associate will be responsible for all aspects of clients’ matters, including:Designing policies, procedures, and strategies
Providing sound and practical employment law advice
Drafting letters, employee handbooks, and pleadings
Negotiating and mediating resolutions to disputes
Conducting discovery
Writing legal briefs
Arguing motions in court
Preparing for and attending hearings and trialsQualifications
The ideal candidate will:Be an active member of the New Jersey Bar (and New York Bar preferred)
Have experience skillfully managing employment law matters in New Jersey (and New York preferred) for both employers and employees, including counseling, negotiating, mediating, and litigating
Be a self-starter, highly motivated, and ethical
Have a solid ability to work both independently and with a team in the office as well as remotely, as necessary
Demonstrate a strong work ethic with high standards for quality of work and integrity
Be compassionate, personable, and professional when interacting with clients, colleagues, and co-workers
Be willing to adapt to technology and new ways of working
