In this program, Vesper and a panel of experienced plaintiff’s counsel, defense counsel, a valuation expert and retired judge will delve into the intricacies of proving or defending damages in wrongful death cases. They will take you through case assessment, evidentiary issues, assessing damages including the use of economic experts and negotiating settlements.
The ability to evaluate a case to determine its potential outcome is vital to every personal injury attorney, whether representing the plaintiff or defense. Most lawyers are aware of damages due to loss of income, household services, protection, care, comfort, and companionship. There may be additional considerations that would raise the value of the damages incurred by the injury or the loss of life.
Learn about these issues and more in this special presentation.
The registration fee will include several chapters of what most trial lawyers and judges consider an authoritative text – “A Practical Guide to Wrongful Death and Survival Actions” by Richard Brennan, Esq. The entire book will be available for purchase for $79.
