New Jersey At SCOTUS: NY v. NJ and the Waterfront Commission

Last year, New Jersey defeated New York in a 9-0 decision before the U.S. Supreme Court. This panel will discuss that case—aptly named New York v. New Jersey—and describe the Waterfront Commission Compact at the heart of the case, the State’s approach to winning the litigation, and the actions the State has taken since in light of that victory. The panel will also discuss the other recent SCOTUS decisions involving New Jersey in recent years, and the impact those decisions have had on the state.
