Attorneys who are advising clients in the estate planning process, and those who advise the executors or administrators of the estate of a deceased person must comply with all of the same obligations of the Rules of Professional Conduct. However, these two areas of the law present certain challenges which are unique to these practice areas. Even the identification of the client may raise serious issues.
