New Jersey is known nationwide for its commitment to the arts, sports and entertainment. Not only is the state rife with top-tier professional athletic programs, but there is also a wealth of musicians, actors and artists who call New Jersey home. Their professional skill and contributions to our unique regional culture require protection, along with astute technical skills to develop, prolong and provide a legacy to last generations.
Think about it – 16 year old Taylor Swift or Ice Spice needed much more from their lawyer than a well-drafting recording contract to protect them long-term. Effectively representing athletes and artists not only involves contract review and negotiation, but also a knowledge of trademarks, insurance, taxation and estate planning.
Our panel of experts will share these skills and perspectives on the representation of entertainment, arts and athletic professionals whose talents may be temporary, but their impact on our society and their families can be made permanent. Join us to learn more about representing entertainers and athletes, from earnings to estate planning.
