NEW BRUNSWICK – Essex County attorney G. Glennon Troublefield was sworn in as secretary of the New Jersey State Bar Association at its Annual Meeting and Convention. He is on track to become president of the state's leading group for lawyers, judges and legal professionals in 2027.
This year’s slate brings a historic first to the NJSBA with G. Glennon Troublefield’s selection as secretary of the Board of Trustees. Troublefield is a partner at Carella, Byrne, Cecchi, Olstein, Brody & Agnello, P.C., in Roseland, New Jersey. His practice includes commercial litigation, bankruptcy, and intellectual property. He is a registered patent attorney.
“Joining the NJSBA’s executive committee is one of the greatest honors of my career. I welcome the opportunity to serve the state’s legal profession and its many capable professionals,” Troublefield said.
Troublefield’s participation in the organized bar is extensive. He served as a trustee of the NJSBA and co-chaired the NJSBA’s Commission on Racial Equity in the Law with Carolyn Chang. He is president-Elect to the Essex County Bar Association, is one of the NJSBA’s delegates to the American Bar Association House of Delegates, is a former chair of the American Bar Association’s Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section, and is a member of the Lawyers Advisory Committee of the Association of the Federal Bar of New Jersey. He also serves on several NJSBA committees and is Statewide Chair of the New Jersey Supreme Court’s Committee on Character.
Mr. Troublefield grew up in Maplewood, New Jersey, is an alum of the University of Pittsburgh and Seton Hall University School of Law. He presently resides in Cedar Grove, New Jersey.
