The NJSBA’s 2026 ADR Day will provide you with the latest strategies to achieve better client outcomes in mediation, arbitration and settlement. Experienced mediators, arbitrators, in-house counsel, retired judges and plaintiff and defense attorneys will show you how to apply practical negotiation techniques to your daily practice. You will gain valuable insights into the mechanics of dispute resolution and how diverse perspectives influence the settlement process.
The day begins with a mock mediation. Review the fact pattern and watch as parties mediate a dispute. Did the neutral make the right call? What were the advocates’ strongest and weakest arguments? Provide your feedback and insight as presenters and colleagues share their knowledge. The day ends with a segment on ethical responsibilities for neutrals and advocates in the age of AI. In between, the day is full of topics, including breakout sessions, tailored just for you.
You will come away with the confidence to strengthen your practice and deliver results for every client.
