Fun Fact: The seminar title for this program was created by ChatGPT

The use of artificial intelligence (AI) is fraught with perils for attorneys. In fact, in its recently published Preliminary Guidelines on the Use of Artificial Intelligence by New Jersey Lawyers, the New Jersey Supreme Court emphasized the ethical impact of AI and pointed out the following danger zones to lawyers who may be integrating AI into their practices:

  • Honesty, candor and communication
  • Confidentiality
  • Prevention of misconduct, including discrimination
  • Oversight, including supervision of non-attorney assistants
  • Fees
  • Advertising

Join ethics attorneys Glenn Reiser and Chad Moore along with Ethics Hotline guru Carol Johnston in this fast-moving two-hour webinar as they explain AI, discuss its potential and limitations for lawyers and analyze the ethical challenges that can result from its use.  Learn about the obligations that you assume when using AI, and how to tweak your practice to accommodate it.
