Local government attorneys-do you ever find yourself perplexed by potential ethical issues? Sometimes it is a close call. The problems may be subtle but lurking, and the answers are not always obvious. Purchase today to learn how two seasoned local government lawyers identify and respond to thorny, ethical situations.
Local government attorneys often face ethical dilemmas on two fronts. First, they must provide their local government clients with accurate and salient advice on governing and conducting municipal affairs to comply with New Jersey’s Local Government Ethics Law. Second, they must provide this advice while being cognizant of ethical dilemmas that can directly impact themselves and their firms.
During this program, two of New Jersey’s leading local government lawyers, Dennis Galvin Esq. and Michael Witt Esq., will engage in lively and thought-provoking discussions about local government ethics. They will highlight the red flags you should watch out for and advise you on how best to avoid ethical minefields. They will examine the complex and challenging ethical situations faced by municipal officials and the attorneys who represent them.
