Don't miss this opportunity to catch up on the Getting Burned with Boilerplate Agreements program you missed!

Attorneys who rely on boilerplate agreements might find themselves in …hot water. Recent federal appellate court decisions such as Field Intelligence v. Xylem Dewatering Sols. Inc., 49 F.4th 351 (3d Cir. 2022) and Morgan v. Sundance, 142 S. Ct. 1708 (May 23, 2022), indicate that transactional attorneys must be vigilant regarding legal developments that might affect the enforcement of arbitration clauses and other so-called standard clauses in company contracts. This is especially true for litigators with submitted motions and appeals.

Join Jay R. McDaniel, an experienced business litigator and counselor, as he reviews the pitfalls in boilerplate agreements. This practical, information-packed replay will take you through standard boilerplate provisions, illuminate the traps, and demonstrate how to avoid or overcome them as well as explore how courts will interpret such provisions.
