Congratulations on your recent admission to the New Jersey bar!

We at the New Jersey State Bar Association/New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education welcome you to the profession for a day designed for recently admitted lawyers. You’ll fulfill your “recent admit” CLE requirements, meet colleagues and hear a special panel of leaders discuss what they wish they knew when they were starting out in the profession. You will also receive materials that you can reference throughout your career and practical information to set you on the road to success.

The day begins with breakfast and a welcome from officers of the NJSBA Young Lawyers’ Division.

Next, fulfill your new attorney requirements with a combination of interactive live programs and recorded on-demand seminars. Choose one live seminar in the morning and one in the afternoon for six credits. Everyone registered will also receive a library of on-demand recorded courses that will fulfill the remaining 10 new admit credit requirement, including the New Jersey attorney trust and business accounting course. (For more information about the credit requirements for every lawyer, click here.)

Finally, learn from experience! Hear from members of the YLD and the NJSBA Leadership Academy in a fun roundtable on what they wish they knew when they were starting out. They will also answer your questions, so ask whatever comes to mind!
