Stuart Teicher, Esq.
CLE Performer and Ethics Educator

Jazz and the blues are not only great music - they are illuminating. Jazz originated in the African-American communities of New Orleans in the late 19th and 20th centuries, with its roots in blues and ragtime. The blues originated in African-American communities primarily of the Deep South at the end of the 19th century. The music, with its rich history, speaks of struggle, culture, bias, inclusion, change and resilience. Each of those concepts is critical to an understanding of and combatting bias in the practice of law.

Join the CLE performer Stuart Teicher as he connects the world of jazz and the blues to diversity and inclusion in the legal world. You will hear beautiful, soulful music, learn some of the history of jazz and gain a better understanding of your ethical obligations as a lawyer. This seminar will hit all the right notes.
